Film industry interviews
A medley of interviews with actors and directors, both known and unknown. All were published by film website, thehollywoodnews.com
????Whilst struggling for space by hoards of women's mag interns, I managed to grab a few moments with Bradley Cooper to discuss his new movie, Limitless. Sadly, due to over protective PR,the sound bites from old sapphire eyes were all too brief.
Dominic Burns is a young director who has managed to achieve the impossible. Despite very little recognition, no training and no nepotism to speak of, he's about release his second feature film. I nabbed him at the press line for the premier of his first film, Jack Falls, to try and unpick the enigma that is Burns.
On a crowded press line for a straight to DVD gangster movie, I had the pleasure of speaking with the ever-articulate Dexter Fletcher, star of Press Gang, Lock Stock and Band of Brothers. Fletcher's perpetual honesty, amazing sense of humour and high-functioning radar for bullshit make him the most interesting interview-subject around.
An infinitely strained 20 minute interview with grime rapper, Bashy, to discuss his foray into acting. This was commissioned as a promotional feature for the movie, The Veteran, published on www.thehollywoodnews.com
I joined a round table interview with James Purefoy as part of a press junket for the release of the movie Ironclad. He was hideously charming, read on for much quirky english swearing and surprisingly thoughtful remarks.
A 6 minute high-pressure interview with Donald Sutherland to celebrate the release of The Mechanic. Read on to gather his eloquent musings on fatherhood, remakes and on-screen sex with Julie Christie.
